About Santa David Nelson

Santa David Nelson started out by greeting children and adults who came to visit his animated musical Christmas light display at his home.  Friends, family and visitors would often comment on how he looked like Santa.  Children would give him that knowing look and give Santa David their Christmas wishes.  More and more friends and family asked for a visit from Santa.

Then, two wonderful things happened at the same time.  He was asked to be Santa for Neiman Marcus Department Stores.  Also, the power of the internet came to Christmas, and Santa David starting working with a company where he made online live and personalized video visits with children all over the country.

Santa David is Santa because he wants to bring joy, happiness, hope, love, wonder and the spirit of Christmas to all that he meets.  It also brings the same feelings to Santa David as he continues the legacy of Saint Nicholas.

Santa David knows that Santa is important, and as such, he takes time throughout the year to study and go to school to learn ways to improve his craft, and attends conventions and workshops, to provide an magical experience for you, your family, company or event.

Santa David is a graduate, with a Advanced Master’s Degree, from The International University of Santa Claus, a member of the Red Suit Society, and a signer and follower of The Santa Claus Oath. He is also a member, in good standing, of the Fraternal Order of Real Bearded Santas (FORBS).
